Welcome to Beth's Mad Batter Baker, where delectable baked goods are crafted from scratch using all-natural, locally sourced ingredients. My specialty lies in creating custom cakes, cupcakes, cookies, pop tarts, and donuts. At Mad Batters, buttercream icing is my choice, as I never use fondant on my cakes. It's my intense passion for baking, commitment to the freshest ingredients, and flair for unique flavor combinations that distinguish me. Well, that and the pretty amazing decorations (Thanks Mom) I'd be shocked if you can find something on my table that doesn't sparkle and shine!!! I've been in the baking world for most of my life, jeez over 25 years I'd say. I started out in a grocery store as a bakery clerk and worked my way up to bakery manager. I worked as a bakery manager for that company for a good while. Took a buyout from them and went to work behind the scenes at a cute little cafe downtown. Was there for about 5 years or so making all the bread and pastries. It was all made from scratch for that cafe and most of the shops in town. Then from there I went and worked at a little coffee shop as their pastry chef. Was there for a couple years before we (as a family) decided I was going to start this business. That was in the beginning of 2022 and here we are now!! I really enjoy baking and decorating cakes, lets me stay creative. But I have found myself enjoying the markets so much more honestly. Being able to connect with people and see their faces light up looking at my product is so super rewarding. Or having customers be so excited because you are at the market literally brings me to tears!! I can't tell you how much I truly LOVE what I do.
